Kristin -- Part Deux

Here are a few close up pictures of some of the work 1LT Graham is doing in Iraq.

Defending from a chemical weapons attack and
building berms, bunkers and other force protection
is a critical to an adequate defensive structure.

Her is one of Kristin's D-9 dozers up close and personal. D-9's lead the way into Iraq from Kuwait in the early part of the War by clearing out the Iraqi defensive berms and structures.

Quarry operations are very important to
building helipads and fixing the giant holes
left in airfields. 1LT Graham's group loaded
over 600 20 ton dump truck loads of
gravel  at
An Najaf alone.

Public Outreach is an important part of winning the hearts and minds of Iraqis. Here Kristin is seen on the streets of An Najaf on their way north.
1 Lt. Graham's platoon constructed over 100
helipads
throughout southern Iraq to aid their
attacks on Baghdad early in the war , along
with the construction of 'soft' landing strips as
seen above.
Repair is an on-going operation as seen with a hydraulic line above. 1LT Graham is seen (middle) with two of her Dump Truck Operators. They are seen with an abandoned Russian Dump truck that they repaired and put into service.

Thank you for allowing me to share a little of what my daughter is doing in Iraq. We are very proud of her and the men and women she serves along side. -- Roger Freberg
