 Being a Spectator at “THE MEET” Last year during the dual meet, I felt a lot of pressure to perform and do well. Many people had told me that this is “THE” meet of the year and that years from now—people will ask me—did you win at UCLA? And I can say—YES! It was different for me this year to watch the other athletes perform. If I had to sum up the meet for the USC Track and Field team—it would be “Walk-on Domination.” The walk-on athletes really took the stage at the meet—Logan Taylor won the 110 meter hurdles, and Stenn Parton improved over 8 meters in the javelin to win. That is AMAZING!! These are just a few of the many great performances that came out of the meet—and USC men won the dual meet for the first time in five years. Congratulations guys and Fight on! the Javelin! ( even coaxing a smile out of Noah Bryant ) From last
to first left the Bruins smartin' and 'stunned'!! Great to be a Trojan! |
