LUNCH! Yes, I want to talk to all of you younger K-Mail subscribers and remind each of you to bring something to eat when you travel to a meet! As experienced as many of the throwers are in college, I am always surprised to find how few prepare themselves nutritionally for the long day. I can tell you that I was a bit nervous when I pulled out my Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich on a giant hoagie roll! YIKES! Whether you are a woman or a
man it is important to know how to cook! After all , you can better
control the quality and quantity! |

As I said, it was a great low key meet to get the bugs out before the important competitions later in the season.
Here are a few of the participants and fans! |
I would like to thank everyone at Claremont for hosting this fun day of competition! I got a chance to see some folks I haven't seen and surprise a few officials who thought I had long since graduated! --Karen:) |
