Here I am coming back to my seat after the introduction!

Coach Lange and me!

Katherine B. Loker was honored at our Banquet for her wonderful contributions to the USC Track and Field program! She has also been extremely generous to our University as well as to Harvard and CSU Dominguez Hills.
I have had the opportunity to compete in USC's track stadium before her generosity and the change she brought to our lives is significant!
She also attended the big basketball game that evening! No one can ask for a better supporter! Thank you! --
Karen:)

Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labor in freedom.

One of the nice things that happened at the banquet was that I was recognized in the program with the other athletes who had achieved academically!

Here are a few of the Lady Trojan Throwers!
I wanted to get everyone together but we ran out of time as we had to rush off to the big game!

I was told later that there were picture taking sessions after the banquet :(

Dad and me!
Mom and me near the track!

Here I am by the records list -- not there yet -- but , I am working on it! I am carrying my 'good luck' bag that my sister bought me in Beverly Hills--it is a "Prada!"

The USC Banquet was a classy event. Everything about the evening was wonderful! The food, the environment, the entertainment and most of all the company were superb! Olympians and gold medalists were sprinkled in the audience!

At my table, I ran into a great former Trojan thrower (Mr. Colich), a former 'SC Track Coach and another former great Trojan Track man!

Mr. Colich's brother-in-law Mark Ostoich was a teammate of my father's at UCLA. They shared a few amusing anecdotes! Mr. Colich and his brother donated the new hammer facility at USC!
wow!
