Oops, this wasn't the prettiest meet in the world for me, but there
are plenty of meets ahead indoors and out!

However, it was fun being in Arkansas again and I had an opportunity
to visit with a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time. Coach Anne Takacs
of Michigan was a kick to run into and Coach Weir of Stanford gets the tease award of the
meet by saying that my shot put bag had a lot of 'paint' on it! (I have painted my bag with
the school colors of each of my schools since high school) However,
Coach Lange had the best response by saying,
"well, she's got the right colors on it now!" :)

I got to see some familiar faces at Tyson—thank you for the warm welcome back to track! J

Karla snapped this picture of Dad carving a 12 1/2 lb. Stuffed Goose that he made just for the three of them on Saturday! I think Karla was trying to make me a bit jealous! I do love Dad's Andouille dressing and it is very yummy!
