Everyone LOVES turkey on Thanksgiving, but how many people have really enjoyed an old southern treat called 'Turducken'?

It is a bit of work to prepare, but all the effort you do to making one is well worth it! Our turkey only has it's wing and leg bones -- and the turkey is stuffed with a similarly prepared duck which has a boneless chicken inside it!

Of course stuffing is separating each layer of poultry with extra in the center!

My sister took me to Rodeo Drive in the heart of Beverley Hills to shop!
What's a girl going to do?

I have to confess that as a struggling student this is way beyond my income, so my sister Kristin treated me to some of the joys she loves. I was more than shocked when she bought me a PRADA purse! WOW!

Although Kristin stayed with me in Los Angeles, I felt there was nothing I could do to say thanks enough for her coming to see me!

Here is Kristin on our shopping trip. She likes to go to the 'Coach' store where she has an account.

I was impressed when they came out and served us refreshments!

So this is how the other half lives!

Kristin gave me the assignment of finding a truly memorable place to eat while she was in Los Angeles, so I did a little research to see who were considered to be in the top 10.

"Dolce" is considered number one or 2 depending on who you listen to, but you better have your eyes open when you try to find it --  because they are really a great LA secret and very hard to find! Oh yes, don't forget your wallet!

I hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a joyous upcoming holiday season!

We'll be fixing Turducken again next month and although I do not plan to go to Rodeo Drive anytime soon, I found it a wondrous experience!

Sssssshhhhhh! Here's another secret. I will be throwing in the INDOOR track season this year and I am really looking forward to it this year! I will start competing in January 2006 and that's just around the corner!

GOoOOOOoooo Trojans!
