The Coca-Cola Florida
Relays are always one of the top events in collegiate track and field!
This year's meet featured a terrific duel between the Florida Men's frosh-soph
4X400 team
and the junior-senior 4X400 team! The frosh-soph team (Reggie, Sekou,
Mike, and Kerron) won!
There were lots and lots of NCAA regional qualifying marks, too!

Ron Zook March 18th UPDATE |
If you can't make it out to our spring practice, check my daily audio comments on my web page for updates after each practice. We've hired Art Link to be our graduate assistant on the defensive side of the ball. Art is a former Gator who was a member of the 1996 National Championship team and attended Bolles High School in Jacksonville. Art will assist Bill Miller in coaching the linebackers as well as help in coaching the special teams. We also had our pro scout day on Wednesday and it was good to see all of the former players again. Every NFL team had a scout or coach on hand and it was a well-run event by Rob Glass, our strength and conditioning coordinator and Megan McLaughlin, my assistant. In between meetings with the offense and defense on Thursday morning, I had breakfast with the winner of the Got Milk? Jr. Gator of the Season Contest. Our Marketing and Promotions Department picks a Got Milk? Jr. Gator at each home football game and then selects at random a winner at the end of the year from that group. Maurice Dix Jr., a third-grader from Ft. Lauderdale, came up with his family to join me for breakfast and a tour of our facilities. Previously, we have provided you with a list of my 2004 Gator Club appearances, but we've had a recent addition. I will also attend the Dallas Gator Club on April 23. A complete list of my Gator Club appearances can be found on my web page under Appearances. That is all of the news for now, we will continue to keep you posted on Gator football. As always thanks for your support and Go Gators!

Yep, the results in the shot are in... and... Candice got me on her last throw! By 1 centimeter! Oh well, I've won meets like that, too (Golden West in 2000 with UCLA's Jessica Cosby comes to mind--Jessica was a really good sport about that). That's T&F!
