Here are some scrapbook pictures from our trip to Sacramento. First of all, I'm in a couple of REALLY tough courses this summer (Reporting and Marketing). My Florida teammates left for Sacramento the Wednesday before the Trials started, but I couldn't miss class! I flew to San Luis Obispo after class on Tuesday, arriving at 1 a.m.! My family drove to Sacramento on Wednesday, and I competed Thursday and Friday. We drove back Saturday, and I left SLO-Town Sunday night. Whew!
My Dad has a lot of faith in me, but he didn't even make reservations for the second day in our hotel, the Sheraton Grand downtown, until I officially made the finals! Well, the hotel is kind of pricey.

The Elephant Bar is one of our
favorite places to go! In fact it is definitely a must stop for my sister Karla who enjoys all the pictures of animals that decorate the place! |
Tony's Deli is located near the
Sheraton Grand! Here is Tony taking a well deserved rest! He serves great food and the whole staff wished me luck! |
