Got Jump?

Our Jessie is one of the many heroes on
the men's side of 'SC's BIG PAC 10
 Championship WIN!

Here Jesse clears 7-4" to win!

What people are surprised to learn is
what a 'double threat' he is in the
long jump!

Jesse took third at 24' 9 1/4" (7.55m).

Go Trojans!!!

Isn't this the greatest!

Although Chelsea is a 'bruin', she did
come from my area and I wanted to
 include her big accomplishment in
setting the collegiate record at the
Pac 10. Congratualtions!
Yes, we do really have some distance runners! And they do very well!

Our heroic Women Sprinters!

Probably no greater credit or thanks could be given than should be given to the sprinting women of Troy !
Ginnie, Carol and the entire sprinter core are the very foundation of our team
and to watch them in action is wonderful. On the left is the beginning of
the women's 100 yard dash and on the right is the finish with
Ginnie in fist, Carol in third and Jessica in 5th! Sprinting is
definitely an 'SC thing'!

Congratulations ladies!

and no slave who has not had a king among his.

Karla worked hard as my 'Official K-Mail'
 Photographer and got some great
pictures of  a lot of the sprinting action
in the meet!
   Is there any doubt?

The MEN's 4 by 400 meter Relay!

We will be talking about this victory for a long time
to come! it was hard fought and well earned!

What it made it so sweet was the boxing in of our man on the forth leg
while he was rounding the final turn. it looked like he stumbled. Was he elbowed?
Was he shaken but not stirred? It wasn't pretty.

Well, you could see some Trojan Madness brewing as he took the long way
around the turn and left the rest to fight out for second place.

Someday Oregon men may be Pac 10 Conference Champions --- but not today!
It was Troy's time in the winner's circle!
