Here are some updates on my firing!

• Remember how I wondered in a previous k-mail whether or not I'd be invited to the football halftime where they recognize the conference champion teams? Well, I did hear that they held the recognition ceremony during the Kentucky game, and no, I wasn't included. Some other students told me the announcer just said "Karen Freberg is unavailable" or something.
   

• Some of you have asked about Akera Lathan, and I've had a few conversations with her since she transferred to Miami. She's VERY happy there! We're both wondering, though, if we're going to get our SEC championship rings or our letterman's gear. Since I've seen former teammates walking around in their new gear, my guess is that the answer is NO. Developing....
   

• In a previous k-mail, I also asked about my academic services (I have dyslexia), and after the coaches didn't answer my email, I asked my academic advisor and she said I'd probably have the services for the rest of this semester. Well.....things got pretty interesting after that one! To read more, check out the link below:

What Academic Services?

Karla drew this wonderful Birthday card for my sister's and my birthday. Kristin's is the 29th of September and I am on the 30th! Karla's on the 31st, but in the month of May!	I saw the ripples in the water......dum dum..... and then I saw the eyes.....DUM DUM!
Here's what I DON'T get to eat on my diet! This version of the Philadelphia cheese-steak sandwich goes for $100! I hope it's good!  (AP Photo/Jacqueline Larma)	This may just look like the O'Dome.... but I just had a HORRIBLE accounting midterm here.....Picture about 700 students with only a pen and ID (if you brought anything else, you flunked the exam.) My table was right on the SHOT RING! I hope that brings me good luck!
